Sub Versions – Emission 1

Partant du principe que la création artistique se fait obligatoirement (consciemment ou non) par rapport aux créations passées et présentes, et donc que la création n’est parfois qu’une forme, plus ou moins avancée, subtile, et avouée, de recyclage, l’émission proposera un voyage subjectif entre les différentes versions d’un morceau et leurs filiations :

• Le morceau original
• Reprises, plagiats, en privilégiant les reprises faites dans un autre genre musical que l’original
• Les morceaux qui ont samplé le morceau original ou une de ses reprises
• Les mash-ups ou bootlegs, qui mélangent le morceau original ou un morceau inspiré de l’original… avec un autre morceau.
• Autres formes de réinterpretations

Pour ne pas lasser l’auditeur (et le présentateur) avec une succession de versions du même morceau, l’émission voyagera entre les morceaux, par analogie (ou antagonisme) de titre, d’auteur, de genre, d’époque.. selon les envies du producteur, en veillant à varier les ambiances musicales dans une même émission.

Les commentaires serviront la plupart du temps à apporter de l’information sur le morceau : titre, auteur, etc, mais également des informations sur la réalisation du morceau ou sur l’effet produit lors de sa sortie (procès de l’ayant-droit, par exemple).

- Teuk Henri, (Sharko, Rawfrücht, Chacda, IH8 Camera) joue sur pas mal de guitares différentes et fait voyager à travers des paysages de westerns granuleux, un blues indien ressuscité, une légère transe psyché sortant d’un bel amplificateur ancien.

- Avec Venus, Marc A. Huygens avait développé un son à forte inspiration anglo-saxonne, mais qui avait su préserver ses influences continentales. Après un break d’un an, l’artiste revient avec un projet minimaliste, Joy. Au côté de deux musiciennes, Françoise Vidick au chant et aux percussions, et Anja Naucler au violoncelle, il entretient la flamme d’un rock mélancolique avec une intégrité presque désarmante.

- Dans les rangs du nouveau combo Cheresse, on retrouve l’excellent guitariste Hugues Warin (Rawfrücht), le bassiste très physique et libre Arnaud Paquotte et Jean-Philippe De Gheest, batteur pour aMute et Attica. Une musique viscérale, complexe, sans tomber dans les clichés du genre et qui reste accessible grâce à une approche assez rock, en laissant des ouvertures à des moments de respiration jouissifs.

- DJ Protesta loves to blend styles, to blend people and to make spirits meet each other. As a dj, protesta plays a selection of all-time and all-style grooves, always with a strong happy and energic feeling. He is the creator and one of the organisers of the FWF parties and website (http://www.futureworldfunk.be) , and played at Couleur Café Festival (2002, 2003, 2006), Esperanzah Festival (2003), Gentse Feesten (2002), Gazon (2003, 2008), Stubnitz (Brugge 2002), Oorlog is geen kunst (Vooruit 2003), Recyclart Festival (2003, 2005); Printemps Extra Large (2003), Next Party (2002, 2003, 2004), lezarts-urbains @ Botanique (Bruxelles 2004), Shelter Night (2005, 2006), Zoo (Hasselt – 2003), Centro Social in Milano and Lugano (2003), Homeground (Dirty Dancing at Mirano – 2005) and in support of artists like De-Phazz, Mad Professor, Bush Chemist, Zion Train, Fauna Flash, Gabriel Rios, Chopstick Crew, Dj Food, Dj Mutiny, Red Snapper, N-Type, … he also regulary played in street-parties, for example: Collectif Sans-Ticket, in demos against the Europeans Summits and demos against war.

Partant du principe que la création artistique se fait obligatoirement (consciemment ou non) par rapport aux créations passées et présentes, et donc que la création n’est parfois qu’une forme, plus ou moins avancée, subtile, et avouée, de recyclage, l’émission proposera un voyage subjectif entre les différentes versions d’un morceau et leurs filiations :

• Le morceau original
• Reprises, plagiats, en privilégiant les reprises faites dans un autre genre musical que l’original
• Les morceaux qui ont samplé le morceau original ou une de ses reprises
• Les mash-ups ou bootlegs, qui mélangent le morceau original ou un morceau inspiré de l’original… avec un autre morceau.
• Autres formes de réinterpretations

Pour ne pas lasser l’auditeur (et le présentateur) avec une succession de versions du même morceau, l’émission voyagera entre les morceaux, par analogie (ou antagonisme) de titre, d’auteur, de genre, d’époque.. selon les envies du producteur, en veillant à varier les ambiances musicales dans une même émission.

Les commentaires serviront la plupart du temps à apporter de l’information sur le morceau : titre, auteur, etc, mais également des informations sur la réalisation du morceau ou sur l’effet produit lors de sa sortie (procès de l’ayant-droit, par exemple).
